Starting from July 1, 2023, the next stage of the EU Ecodesign regulations will be implemented, introducing more stringent criteria for enhancing the energy efficiency of electric motors. Consequently, electric motors with power ratings ranging from 75 kW to 200 kW, marketed within the EU, will be required to meet an energy efficiency standard equivalent to IE4.
